COLD-CE: Cold urticaria and other cold-induced reactions – Comprehensive Evaluation

This international, multi-center, prospective and partly retrospective, observational, cross-sectional academic study aims to improve the understanding of cold urticaria and cold-induced anaphylaxis. Optimal evaluation strategies need to be defined. We hope this project will spread globally and to help improve patient care.

Study type: Questionnaire (physician and patient), stimulation testing

We intend to present the study results at an international congress (preferably EADV or EAACI) and to publish them in peer-reviewed scientific journals. To become a coauthor, you need to include at least 10 patients and contribute to the interpretation of study results and manuscript development. Additional co-authorship criteria are: 15 included patients more = another additional co-authorship, 30 included patients more = another additional co-authorship. The sequence of coauthors who contributed equally to data interpretation and manuscript development will be based on the number of patients included.
